When it comes to Body Manipulation what we focus on in our journey of self-defense is the body’s muscular system, the skeletal system and vital organs. Body Manipulation is just putting or using parts of the body of the provoker to control and manipulate their body position to your advantage. Joints in the body when forced in the opposite direction to what they are built for cause intense pain. The Human Body is a wonderful evolved tool but some flaws still make it vulnerable, the main aim is to understand that there are parts of the body that can be used to exert will, basically we use the body flaws against each. You don’t have to be big or strong, just know the technique and apply the right amount of pressure. Due to the danger all Body Manipulation will be shown in class, examples of Body Manipulation are;
if you press down a humans head (full palm on the side of face) to the floor or flat surface, it is very hard for them to get up or move
locking the wrist joint and bending the elbow causes a pain and keeps provoker in one position till you ease off
the index finger is the most sensitive and if held firmly and pulled can be used to control the provoker
